The Illusion of Antigravity: Unveiled in Moscow

In December 2019, Moscow became the launch stage for The Illusion of Antigravity, a concept collection that redefined the relationship between jewellery and physical space. Presented in an intimate setting among designers, engineers, and creatives, the event marked the debut of one of Kostin’s Lab’s most boundary-pushing projects.
The collection explored sculptural, gravity-defying forms created from our innovative PalladinGold™ 950 alloy—renowned for its strength, lightness, and resistance. Each piece was built around a continuous line transformed into a three-dimensional shape, evoking movement, tension, and the unseen forces of the cosmos.
The event served as both a technical showcase and a philosophical statement. Inspired by black holes, gravitational singularities, and stellar transformation, the pieces merged the precision of material science with the poetry of space. From structure to symbolism, the collection highlighted how modern alloys can bring abstract scientific concepts into the world of wearable art.
A collection suspended between science and sculpture
The Moscow presentation set the tone for the collection’s international journey—establishing The Illusion of Antigravity not only as a jewellery line but as a conversation between design, physics, and innovation.
